The Spanish government has authorized the Ministry of Science to invest €685 million in projects of the European Space Agency (ESA) to "reinforce the strategic autonomy" of the State. The government spokesperson, Elma Saiz, explained that €325 million will be allocated to a program of latest-generation satellites.
