Some 300 Renfe and Adif workers protest in Madrid against the transfer of Cercanías

Some 300 Renfe and Adif workers demonstrated in Madrid against the transfer of the commuter rail service to the Generalitat (Catalan government) and the privatization of Renfe Mercaderies. The protesters—the Railway Union, Alferro, CGT, and CSIF—believe it jeopardizes their jobs and working conditions.
