Saúl Gordillo's appeal against his one-year prison sentence for sexual assault has been dismissed

The Barcelona Court has rejected the appeal of journalist Saül Gordillo against a one-year prison sentence for sexually assaulting a journalist from the media outlet he directed, The Principal, in 2022. Gordillo, who is awaiting a second trial for an assault, now has the option of appealing to the Supreme Court.
