Record number of sharks and manta rays in Catalonia this 2025

During 2025 in Catalonia, 76 specimens of sharks, schools and manta rays were seen, 11 of these being of the species Mobula mobularA type of manta ray listed as protected. In addition, CRAM rescued nearly 300 marine animals, a figure far exceeding the 105 animals rescued in 2024.
