A preventative alert for particulate matter has been activated in the province of Barcelona due to an intrusion of Saharan dust.

The Department of Territory, Housing and Ecological Transition has activated a preventative alert for air pollution due to high levels of suspended particles in the Barcelona area this Wednesday.
