A patient hospitalized with rabies in Valencia after contracting the disease in Ethiopia.

A 44-year-old patient is in critical condition in isolation in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a hospital in the Valencian Community after testing positive for rabies. He was bitten by a dog during a trip to Ethiopia in July 2024 and was not vaccinated against the disease.
