New sexist crime in Seville: a man kills his partner and barricades himself inside the apartment

BarcelonaNew sexist crime in the State, this time in Seville. A 56-year-old man killed a 47-year-old woman on Saturday night with a bladed weapon in the Sevillian town of La Campana. According to Europa Press, the victim was the man's current partner. After the crime, the man barricaded himself inside the apartment and it was not until this Sunday at noon that the Civil Guard managed to get him to surrender.

According to information provided by Civil Guard sources in a statement, the events took place around 10:40 PM in this municipality, when a woman was seriously injured after receiving several stab wounds. The victim was attended to by health services and transferred to a health center, where her death was finally confirmed around 11:30 PM.

Given this context, the Civil Guard deployed an operational device with specialized personnel, and carried out mediation tasks with the alleged perpetrator. These tasks finally allowed for the arrest of the murderer, who had to be attended to by medical services because he had inflicted several stab wounds upon himself.
