A man has been arrested for a sexual assault in Sant Joan de les Abadesses.

The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) have arrested a 30-year-old man in Ripoll, with no prior criminal record, as the suspected perpetrator of a violent sexual assault involving intimidation. According to the Catalan News Agency (ACN), the assault took place on Wednesday around 9:00 p.m., and the man allegedly injured and restrained the victim while groping her.
