The severe thunderstorm that struck Vielha e Mijaran (Aran Valley) on Monday caused a lightning strike near the southern entrance of the Vielha tunnel, killing more than 200 sheep that were grazing. Some of the animals were on the Vielha Pass road, which is quite busy at this time of year.
