Man stabbed to death in Barceloneta after breaking restraining order
The Mossos have arrested the individual after finding him seriously injured and he ended up dying in the hospital
BarcelonaThe Mossos are investigating the death of a man with a bladed weapon early this morning on the Passeig Marítim in Barceloneta, Barcelona. The individual, as ARA has been able to confirm, had broken a restraining order against his ex-partner.
It all began around 03:25, when the police received a report of an argument on the Passeig Marítim. Several patrols located the man, seriously injured, and arrested him for breach of a restraining order: he had broken the order against the woman, who was also at the scene.
The man, now under arrest, was transferred by members of the Emergency Medical System (SEM) to the Hospital del Mar, where he finally died.
The Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of the Mossos has taken charge of the investigation to determine the causes of the incident and to arrest the perpetrator or perpetrators of the violent death, who have not been identified. At the moment, there are no detainees.
