High Court gives Generalitat two months for schools to start teaching quarter of classes in Spanish

BarcelonaCatalonia's High Court has declared the ruling that forces Catalan schools to teach 25% of classes in Spanish final. It has given the Generalitat 10 days to enforce the ruling once it receives the official notification. The Court has issued this decree after receiving the Spanish Supreme Court rejected the appeal filed by the Generalitat against the original December 16, 2020 ruling. The procedure was initiated by Spanish Ministry of Education under the PP government.
