At least 16 horses have tested positive for West Nile fever in Catalonia this week. Specifically, there are 11 in Almacelles (Segrià) and 5 in Pau (Alt Empordà), as reported by the newspaper Segre and confirmed by the Department of Agriculture. The confirmation date for the cases is Wednesday.
