Catalonia exceeds 40 degrees for the first time in 2025 in Alcarràs

For the first time this year, Catalonia recorded a maximum temperature above 40 degrees (40.1 degrees in Alcarràs and Segrià). However, the maximum temperature was similar or slightly higher in the northwest quadrant and similar or slightly lower elsewhere.
