Barcelona fines 2,943 electric scooters in the first month of the new traffic ordinance

Barcelona City Council has fined 2,943 personal mobility vehicles (PMV) in the first month of the new traffic ordinance, which came into force on February 1. Of the total number of complaints against scooters, 2,586 were due to the new regulations: 2,419 for not wearing a helmet and 167 for riding on the sidewalk.
