Barcelona en Comú members support the twelve-year term limit.

The Barcelona en Comú membership has supported replacing the two-term limit (and one exceptionally extendable term) in its code of ethics and setting a maximum term limit of twelve years in institutional politics. The party approved this reform of the code of ethics in a plenary session.

Barcelona en Comú's code of ethics will leave the door open for Colau to be a candidate.
