Barcelona City Council closed 2025 with 96.4% of its budget executed and a surplus of €51.8 million. Debt stands at 25.5%. "We are investing more than ever, we have good budget execution, and we are paying faster than ever," said Deputy Economy Minister Jordi Valls.
