The Barcelona City Council has reached an agreement with the Spanish government to purchase the entire Noucentista-style building located at Via Laietana 8-10 for €22.35 million. The council is thus acquiring the 48.3% of the property that is not yet municipally owned, the equivalent of approximately 10,000 square meters.
