Tied up and with the floor ransacked: the Mossos are investigating the violent death of a man in Balsareny

BarcelonaAnother crime in Catalonia. The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) are investigating the violent death of a 51-year-old man in Balsareny (Bages). Last night, Wednesday, around 8:30 p.m., the police received a call to go to a residence in the town: a body had been found. When they arrived, officers found the victim's lifeless body. The Medical Emergency Service (SEM) also arrived at the scene and confirmed his death. According to ARA, friends of the victim went to his house and discovered the crime scene: they found the man lying on the floor, bound multiple times. The entire apartment was ransacked. However, investigators are not yet ready to conclude that it was a robbery gone wrong. The investigation is currently in its initial stages. The Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of the Catalan police has taken charge of the case and opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances and causes of the crime.
