Authorities are investigating the violent death of a man in Balsareny

BarcelonaThe Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) are investigating the violent death of a 51-year-old man in Balsareny (Bages). Last night, Wednesday, around 8:30 p.m., police received a call to go to a residence in the town. According to police sources, someone had informed them that they had found the body upon entering the house. When officers arrived, they found the victim's lifeless body. The Medical Emergency Service (SEM) also arrived at the scene and confirmed his death. Some media reports suggest the victim had a connection to someone. However, the Mossos d'Esquadra have not yet confirmed this. The Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of the Catalan police has taken charge of the case and opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances and causes of the crime.
