100 million euros in six years to remove 90,000 tons of asbestos in buildings

The Waste Agency of Catalonia (ARC) has awarded more than 100 million euros for the removal of asbestos in buildings since 2019, including 11.5 million euros from two ongoing calls. Currently, nearly 7,000 requests have been processed, which is 60% of the applications received.
