012 will also answer calls from Catalonia to 028, the state telephone number for the LGTBIQ+ community.

A new agreement with the Ministry of Equality will guarantee the service of 028, the free national telephone line for LGBTI+ people and their families. When 012 is active (from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays, and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on holidays), calls to 028 will be forwarded to the Generalitat.
