Vox cuts off Lluís Puig's connection
It allows him to participate in an entire committee in the Parliament, the only one chaired by the extreme right, but just before the end of the session, the video call hangs up on him.

BarcelonaVox chairs a Parliamentary petitions committee because it is required to do so due to a matter of proportionality. Since its formation on March 18th, after many obstacles, Far-right MP Mónica Lora presides over this space, initially with little impact on parliamentary life because it is limited to accepting petitions submitted by citizens. But Lora is already making her presence felt. The committee meeting this Tuesday faced a hitherto unprecedented situation, albeit without any impact, which she used to spread the word on social media. Lora ended the video call with Junts MP and former minister Lluís Puig, who is speaking remotely because he is in exile, and warned him that she intended to prevent him from participating in the committee. She did so just before closing the session, despite the fact that the former minister had been able to follow the entire session.
"Before closing, I would like to mention that I just realized there is someone connected by videoconference, and the committee has not authorized them to connect," said the far-right MP. "I am passing this on to the lawyers; this should be approved by the corresponding committee," she concluded. Immediately after, after complaints from Junts, the session was adjourned. Following this incident, the official Vox account on X posted a video on social media with the following text: "If the fugitive wants to participate in the committee, he will have to return to Spain and go to court."
Junts spokesperson on the committee, Sònia Martínez Juli, rebuked Lora for this move, reminding her that according to the regulations, Puig can participate and vote remotely in the committee.a vote that, in fact, is electronically protected awaiting amnesty. "Under Article 4 of the Parliament, deputies have the right to attend all sessions of the Parliament," he stated. Depending on how Vox acts in the upcoming sessions, Carles Puigdemont's party will consider how to proceed, although in Tuesday's session they saw it more as a way for the far right to draw attention right at the end, according to the sources consulted.
