Together, ERC and PNV (Basque Nationalist Party) this morning opposed the creation of the state civil protection agency announced by Pedro Sánchez as part of the state pact to address the climate crisis in the wake of the fires. The Catalan and Basque parties consider it a "disguised recentralization."
