The People's Party (PP) is calling for Salvador Illa's resignation to begin the new political year.

The People's Party (PP) met with the Catalan parliamentary group on Tuesday to kick off the political year, accompanied by Elías Bendodo, deputy secretary for regional coordination of the state leadership. The Andalusian politician explicitly called for the resignation of the president of the Generalitat (Catalan government), Salvador Illa.
