The ANC (National Police) has denounced the Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) as confiscating Estelada flags from demonstrators who gathered in Montserrat to protest the visit of the King and Queen. "This is their freedom of expression!" the organization denounces, lamenting that they are "complicit in the repressive regime" in order to "defend the monarchy."
