The day after her appointment was approved by the Council of Ministers, Teresa Peramato was sworn in as Attorney General before King Felipe VI. The successor to Álvaro García Ortiz took the oath of office in the presence of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez at the Zarzuela Palace.
