The Parliament rejected the idea that athletes can decide whether to participate in Spanish national team squads "without any kind of coercion or sanction." This is a resolution that ERC (Republican Socialist Workers' Party) presented to the Sports Committee and only received support from Junts (June, the ERC), and Comuns (Communist Party).
