On the other hand, the statement specifies that both Queen Letizia and the Infanta Sofia have no symptoms for now and "may continue with their planned activities normally, according to the established protocols".

Precisely, just over a year ago, former king Juan Carlos I also tested positive for covid and, as advanced by ARA, was admitted to a clinic in Abu Dhabi, where he resides after fleeing the State in the face of several court cases against him. During a visit to their father in the United Arab Emirates, infantas Elena and Cristina were vaccinated when their age group was not yet eligible in Spain.
