Ayuso's visit to the US president's residence comes after the military intervention in Venezuela, which the PP has defended, but also after Trump's threats in Greenland, which put the countries of the European Union and NATO on alert. Ayuso has always been one of the most outspoken voices in favor of the US president and has closed ranks even when Alberto Núñez Feijóo's PP has remained neutral. One example was precisely with Venezuela, when it became clear that the United States accepted that Delcy Rodríguez, the leader of Chavismo after Nicolás Maduro's removal, remained in power.
