The actor from 'Laberint d'ombres' and 'Al salir de clase' who has multiple sclerosis and asks for help to find an apartment
The interpreter makes a call on the networks to not lose the benefit of the dependency law
BarcelonaThe actor Bruno Bergonzini, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis when he was only 25 years old, has made an appeal on social media to find an adapted apartment that would allow him to live with his illness. As he shared in a post on Instagram, he has been granted aid under the dependency law and currently lives in a residence, but in order not to lose this aid, he needs to find a "minimally adapted" home in the province of Barcelona within the next two months. Bergonzini is known for his roles in productions such as Laberint d'ombres, Al salir de clase and El mar.
"The apartment doors should be at least 80 or 90 centimeters wide," says Bergonzini, who explains that the home needs to have an elevator and that the doors must be that size so he can pass through (assuming it's with a wheelchair), as there are apartments that have narrower ones. He has made an appeal on social media to spread the word about his situation and find an apartment where he can live as soon as possible, "in Barcelona or Badalona".
Bergonziniwas one of the most promising actors of his generation. After suffering an accident that paralyzed half his body, he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2003, when he was only 25 years old. This disease affects his body and reduces his mobility, in addition to preventing him from working normally. Despite the interruption to his career, in 2021 he returned to the stage, specifically, to the National Theater, where he participated in the play Heroïnes o res. More than 20 years after the accident, the actor finds himself in this critical situation. Actresses like Cristina Brondo have shared his situation and have demanded help so that he can maintain the benefit from the dependency law.
