Laura Escanes confirms her relationship with the Andorran Joan Verdú

The presenter of 'La Travessa' is linked to a ski instructor who instructed Risto Mejide

Speculations about a possible relationship between the Catalan content creator and the Andorran skier had been rife for days after different users had read the comments they wrote to each other on their social media posts.

"I'm very well, very happy and very pleased," she replied to the first journalist during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Madrid without specifying the reason for her excitement. The next question, despite avoiding any name, was more direct. The relationship could have started after the Christmas holidays, since Laura Escanes herself posted a post skiing in Grandvalira in which she appeared in different photographs, and without any pretense, with Joan Verdú. The skier is known for having dedicated his life to the world of skiing, as a teacher of this sport and also for having participated in the 2022 Beijing Olympic Games in the slalom modality.

It was precisely through skiing that she met Laura Escanes' ex-husband, Risto Mejide. In March 2015, a few months before the relationship between the presenter and Escanes came to light, Mejide had Verdú as a private ski instructor.
