The actor claims in an interview The Telegraph who doesn't have a permanent home and lives in hotels and Airbnbs. Spacey, winner of two Oscars – one for American Beauty and one per Usual suspects—, until a few years ago was one of Hollywood's most sought-after actors. Now, the actor attributes his situation to the damage to his image resulting from the accusations against him and the high costs of the legal proceedings he has had to face. Spacey was accused by some thirty men of inappropriate conduct, harassment, and sexual assault.

"I live in hotels and apartments, I go wherever there's work. I literally don't have a home," says the actor, who adds that his financial situation "is not good" and that he has had to deal with "astronomical" legal expenses. In fact, last year, in an interview on the program Piers Morgan uncensored He already explained that his Baltimore home, where he had lived since 2016, had been foreclosed on. "I'm not entirely sure where I'll be living from now on," Spacey admitted at the time.

All my things are stored in a storage unit. I hope that, if things keep improving, at some point I can decide where to settle down," Spacey says. However, the actor takes advantage of the conversation to explain that he feels like the victim of a "witch hunt" for which he blames the media: "They were more interested in creating a villain than in explaining the truth."
