BarcelonaThe American actress Raquel Lee has reported that an employee of Disney sexually abused her during the filming of a movie in 2001. Lee accuses the company of negligence in the face of the harassment received during the recording of The poof point, when the actress was only 14 years old. The accuser has not revealed the name of the employee, whom she accuses of having assaulted her several times and of having gotten her drunk at the hotel where the casting team was staying. According to Lee, Disney did not intervene, and she even claims that the company's staff had advised her to "create a bond" with the employee. As a result of the abuse, the actress explains that her behavior changed and that, for this reason, the executives canceled her next project instead of investigating the harassment.

“Over the last decade, many child actors have dared to share their experiences of abuse by industry workers. The message is clear: these behaviors are unjustifiable and those involved must pay for their actions,” they explain to the magazine People the actress's lawyers. Disney has not commented on this.
