BarcelonaThe singer from Hospitalet, Antonio Orozco, has just released a new album entitled Time is not wasted and which he will be performing in 25 concerts this year, as many as he has been active in the music world. His renewed appearance already speaks volumes about the new stage the singer is going through, who after ten uninterrupted years in the music world had to stop to receive professional help, due to the danger to his health, with a hectic pace of life and thirty extra kilos. "When you go full speed ahead, you lose consciousness and things happen like you gain weight indiscriminately without realizing it because you don't sleep, you are traveling all day, because you live poorly, drink and eat badly," he said in an interview with Efe.

The singer has explained his fall and reconstruction in a documentary and also on his new album. In an interview with Top 40 He has opened up about the origin of his illnesses, one of the most traumatic experiences he has ever had, the loss of his ex-partner and mother of his son Jan, Susana Prat, to cancer in 2017: "We were no longer together, and yet she was the best person and my mother for my mother, when I go to her for my mother, when I go to her for me, the horizon, I lost everything," he confessed. "We were the happy couple, even though we didn't live together. We supported each other in everything that was important." The singer explains that the hard part was getting used to the silence, to the fact that the phone no longer rang. "I only received calls from her," he says.

In fact, at the beginning of the album, a phone rings, which no one answers. He didn't usually answer the calls, since "I didn't want to share anything because I saw myself bad and I felt worse," he says. On the album, he talks about the depression he suffered in Neither winners nor losers. There is also a topic titled 607591746, the phone number of someone who has been one of the most important people in her life.

Faced with adversity, he worked non-stop for seven years until he decided to focus on his health: "I was going through a period of collapse," he stated. A medical team recommended psychological treatment based on exercise and a good diet. After exercising, dieting, and therapy, the singer claims he is "a totally different person, with other types of values."

He is now raising his eldest son alone, an eighteen-year-old boy who is also pursuing a musical career as a producer, and has another young daughter, Antonella, to whom he dedicates a lullaby. Orozco has also spoken about his son Jan's upbringing: "When people ask me how I raised the boy like this, I always say that, in reality, it was his mother who raised him. Every time I have to tell him something, I always think about what Susana would have said to him."
