It happens sometimes that we become disconfigured, disfigured, and reconfigured. It happens that at certain moments we lose our anchors, our references. A disconfiguration of accepted codes forces us to allow ourselves to be crossed, to let go of certainties, and to resume doing things, inevitably, from another place. As valid, they are banished between extremes that seem increasingly polarized, more irreconcilable. And now, to be a radical anti-system is to be radically liberal, fascist, racist, sexist, homophobic, and ecocidal.

The positions that grassroots organizations could until now raise, some possibility of stopping, reconsidering, denouncing, alerting, or influencing, are now overwhelmed, both by the number and the intensity of the open fronts. Reformist positions lose credibility in the face of the devastating advance of geopolitics, wealth devastating the world, everywhere. And in our small world, all this violence is reproduced on a smaller, low-intensity scale, but responding to the same global and growing dynamics and logic. We embrace and recognize ourselves in this other, larger, and undesirable world that sneaks in and passes through us through the interstices of everyday life. We recognize ourselves, we gather, and we begin the path to the freedom of being. Outside of binarisms, outside of the definitions that organize the world and exclude those who don't fit in, outside of the inertia to which the imposition of accelerated rhythms in small spaces in the world leads us, we gather, and we embrace and recognize each other to build other possibilities. Thus, while the world becomes increasingly indigestible, more people think, organize, question, reflect, create, build, rethink, relocate, and deconfigure the codes of protection, accompaniment, and mutual support. It's a slow, often invisible, but profound reconfiguration. It's a desire to continue asking questions. It's a desire to cling to a way of being and listening, one that listens, that recognizes interdependence as a starting point and not as a weakness. Movement. And in this movement lies the power of another possible world, another world that is already brewing in the peripheries, in the small, everyday gestures that refuse to resign themselves to.
