Those who love to talk about the issues that truly matter to people are in luck. Finally, in this country, we're talking about the problems of farmers, train passengers, teachers, and the housing shortage. And soon, healthcare workers.

It's been a long time since we've experienced a debate practically simultaneous on all fronts: what we eat, what price farmers and ranchers are paid and what price we pay, the trains that aren't running and the people who arrive late or switch to cars, the teachers on strike because they're paid too little and can't afford the rising cost of affordable rent, not to mention buying an apartment. And as part of these debates, there's the bureaucracy that suffocates everyone and prevents you from focusing on what's essential, because dealing with government offices causes a greater loss of time and health than the commuter rail system.

However, hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world have come to Catalonia seeking a better future for themselves and their children, because we continue to create wealth, while, of course, thousands of well-prepared young Catalans find the opportunities and salaries abroad that they cannot find here.

We are eager to hear the solutions offered by those who love to talk about the problems that truly matter to people. Perhaps at some point someone will say that if we could fully utilize our tax revenue, we could solve some of these problems and wouldn't have a child poverty rate of 36.1%. But, probably, they will be told not to come with artificial identity debates that only divide Catalan society and to stick to talking about the problems that truly matter to people.
