We've said so many times that with this Barça, anything was possible that perhaps we'd forgotten that if anything is possible, elimination was also possible. Or perhaps we hadn't forgotten, but since Barça fans have learned to live with confidence, not fear, we decided that when a game like last night's came up against a coin toss, it was more fun to believe until the end. We'd said that these guys lived by the idea of "they did it because they didn't know it was impossible," and yesterday they hit the obstacle that made it impossible. But that won't stop them, on the contrary, from making this season unforgettable.

Because this journey we fans have taken alongside them continues, and it is and will be the best this season. Because it was unexpected, heartwarming at the beginning, and overwhelming at the end. Because we see the traces of the learnings that make up the football identity of the best Barça, such as ball control and an obsession with attacking football, synonymous with a cult of spectacle, mixed with a style of football, specifically a young, entertaining style of football, generationally free from all fatalisms and, therefore, from football the same precocity that fills the lists of current musical achievements.

The journey continues because on Sunday Barça could have wrapped up the league title. There haven't been many similar years, but a year like this, emerging amid skepticism and the early condemnation of the desert crossing, is an explosion of Barcelona joy and a gem for those of us who want to continue believing that the best is always yet to come.
