WHO baptizes the different variants of covid with the Greek alphabet

Coronavirus variants have been renamed by the WHO with letters of the Greek alphabet following criticism of the way they have been labeled up until now. Under a new system, the Kent variant will now be known as Alpha, the Indian variant as Delta, South African variant as Beta.
