Weekend of premieres and consolidation in various squares
The Castellers de Barcelona unload the 2d8f, Xicots de Vilafranca premiere the 4d8 and the Sagals add the 3d8
Quiet weekend on the casteller calendar before Sant Joan, although with solid performances and some notable movement.
Great day at Plaça Sant Jaume in Barcelona
In Plaça Sant Jaume, the Castellers de Barcelona, celebrating their 57th anniversary, opened the event with the 7d8, a structure already well-consolidated this season. In the second round came the big challenge: the 2d8f. Today, yes, the Barcelonians managed to complete it after it was left unfinished a few weeks ago. They closed the performance with the 3d8. Alongside them, the Castellers de Sabadell completed the classic eight: 4d8, 2d7, and 3d8. Finally, the Moixiganguers d'Igualada staged one of the most ambitious performances of the weekend in Barcelona, completing the 2d8f, the 5d8, and the 3d8 after not quite succeeding with the 4 of 8 with the needle.
Classic eight for Sant Pere in Reus
In Reus, the Sant Pere major festival has left good feelings. The Xiquets de Reus have completed the first classic eight of the season with the 3d8, the 4d8, and the 2d7. For their part, the Capgrossos de Mataró have brought the 3d8, the 4d8, and the 7d7 to the square, while the Castellers de la Vila de Gràcia have bet strongly with the 2d8f. They accompanied it with the 3d8 and the 4d7a after a dismantled attempt of 4d8. They closed the performance by unloading the pillar of 6.
First 3d8 of the Sagals
In Manresa, at the Eix Gatherings of Groups, Sagals d'Osona have premiered the 3d8. They accompanied it with the 5d7 and the 2d7. Tirallongues de Manresa have signed a complete performance with the 4d8, the 7d7, and the 5d7, and Marrecs de Salt have completed the 5d7, 4d7, and the 3d7. Finally, Castellers de Lleida have maintained their level with the 2d7, 4d7, and 3d7.
The Xicots unload the first 4d8 of the course
In La Bisbal del Penedès, during the sponsorship day of the Bulls, the Xicots de Vilafranca have debuted the 4d8. They accompanied it with the 5d7 and the 7d7. Alongside them, the Nois de la Torre have unloaded the 3d7, 4d7 and 4d6a, and the Bous de la Bisbal have completed their first seven-level classic with the 3d7, the 4d7 and the 2d6.
