Castles

The Valls Youth Children's Group and the Castellers de Sants join the bandwagon of the 9-year-old castells.

Patio Day sees the opening of the first 9 buildings of the year by Vallencs and Barcelona residents.

The Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls and the Castellers de Sants had marked the Patio festival in the capital of Alt Camp as a turning point and as a time to debut their 9-figure castles this year. The reds did so in the form of a very elaborate 3 of 9 with a lining, which they accompanied with the 4 of 8 with the pillar and the 2 of 8 with a lining, which they continue to dominate. Those in the gray shirt opted for a lined four with a very elaborate lining, in addition to the 2 of 8 with a lining and the 3 of 8.

The Minyons de Terrassa also made the 3 of 9, but fell short with the 4 of 9. For their part, Moixiganguers made 8, in addition to the 2 of 8 with a lining. Finally, the Castellers de Barcelona had the 4 of 8 as their best castle, after dismantling the 3 of 8 twice.

Sabadell raises the pace

The Castellers de Sabadell celebrated a major anniversary by premiering both 7 de 8 and 2 de 7 in the same performance, as well as performing a new 3 de 8. The Bordegassos de Vilanova also performed their first 2 de 7 of the year.
