Former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadžić, convicted of war crimes during the Balkan conflict of the 1990s, will be transferred to a British prison to serve the rest of his sentence. In 2016 he was sentenced to 40 years in prison for the Srebrenica genocide during the Balkan war of the mid-1990s.
