Japan recalls 1.6 million Moderna vaccine doses manufactured in Spain due to possible contamination

Japan has suspended the use of 1.6 million doses of the Moderna vaccine manufactured in Spain after finding abnormal substances in one of the batches, as announced by the Japanese Ministry of Health and Welfare. The batch had been manufactured at the Granada plant of the Madrid laboratory Rovi.
