Iranian president dismisses vice president over controversial Antarctic trip

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian dismissed Sharam Dabiri, the Deputy Speaker of Parliamentary Affairs, on Saturday for his expensive leisure trip to Antarctica in late March to celebrate the Persian New Year, despite Iran's significant economic difficulties.
