Foreign tourism falls 74% through May compared to 2019, before the pandemic

Catalonia received 251,546 international tourists in May, bringing the cumulative figure for the year to 570,844, 74.5% less than in the period of 2019, before the pandemic, according to the INE. Catalonia was the second most visited community by foreigners in May, behind the Balearic Islands.
