The faces of 3Cat will fill Montjuïc's Olympic Ring with two days of activities

BarcelonaThe Catalan public media outlets are looking to regain the direct contact with the public that was achieved with the Festa del Super3. With this objective, they have organized the first edition of 3Cat en Viu, a two-day event of meetings and activities with some of the best-known faces and voices from TV3, Catalunya Ràdio, and the rest of the channels. It will take place this weekend, from 10 AM to 6 PM, at the Anella Olímpica de Montjuïc in Barcelona.

Tickets for the general activities on the six outdoor stages are free, but pre-registration is required through the 3Cat website. There are two events that do require payment, at the Palau Sant Jordi. The first, on Saturday at noon, is a show by Quim Masferrer that will serve to honor the ten years of El foraster. After visiting the smallest towns in Catalonia, the comedian arrives in Barcelona to look back and revisit some of the characters who have made history over this decade of one of TV3's most successful programs.

On Sunday, also at noon, it will be the turn of the concert at the Palau Sant Jordi corresponding to the fourth season of Eufòria. The program had managed to hold three concerts in its first season, but this year there will only be one showing of the spectacle, which will allow the winner, Aina Machuca, to be seen live, accompanied by the rest of the participants.

Meanwhile, there will be half a dozen outdoor stages where live shows and programs can be seen, such as Polònia, with a musical medley; Que no surti d’aquí; Col·lapse; El suplement, by Roger Escapa, which will include an interview with the five presenters of Està passant; Atrapa’m si pots, by Llucià Ferrer, which will hold a live casting; Nota de veu, by Franc Lluís Giró and Aina Ustrell, and La turra, by Alba Riera.

The radio segment will also have an important space, as throughout the two days there will be consecutive interviews in which some of the personalities from the station will interview their colleagues, before being interviewed in turn by whoever takes over. Thus, it is planned that on Saturday Xavi Coral, Jordi González, Eloi Vila, Elisenda Carod, Mari Pau Huguet, Francesc Garriga, and Gerard Romero, among others, will participate, and on Sunday the conversation will be led by Raquel Sans, Helena Garcia Melero, Manel Alías, Agnès Marques, and Toni Cruanyes.

The Festa dels Súpers held its last edition in Barcelona in 2018 and was discontinued coinciding with a decline in investment in the SX3 channel (then still called Super3). The current heads of the Corporation want to recover that spirit of a great gathering, which also allows them to attract new audiences with the lure of free activities.

Thus, young viewers of the channel will be able to see a musical show by the Super3 characters, which will include Titó, Mic and Beta, among others, of which two performances will be offered each day, at eleven and four o'clock. Beyond the performances, each children's program will have its own space, with workshops, activities and games. The youngest will have Titó, Fa La La, A jugar, Mic and Una mà de contes, and the older ones will have spaces like Fang, Fuet, Beta, Manduka Duo, Tik Tak Factori and InfoK.

At half past two, both Saturday and Sunday, the supers will be able to meet the channel's characters in an area set up for fan meetings.
