RAC1 extends its record again and Basté also sets an all-time high

Catalunya Ràdio also rises, in what is already the best EGM for Catalan on generalist radio stations

BarcelonaThe million mark was merely a psychological milestone. And, once again, it is demonstrated that the audience for Catalan-language radio is not stagnant: Catalunya Ràdio manages to grow despite the success of its rival and reaches 644,000 listeners, 7,000 more than a year ago, allowing it to record its best rolling year (the cumulative total of the three waves). Meanwhile, on the public broadcaster The morning Ricard Ustrell's show also achieves a slight improvement, from 426,000 to 443,000, although the strength of its rival – which has one less time slot – spoils this growth: the distance between both formats is 347,000 listeners, the second widest historically, only surpassed once in July 2002.Today SER's audience remains at 322,000.
