Gemma Nierga delves into raising children, now in Spanish

Channel 2 premieres this weekend the Spanish version of the show that the journalist does on the Catalan circuit, 'We'll do what we can'

BarcelonaParenting can be complicated, and sometimes parents may feel they lack the tools to manage and guide their children. The fact that this topic has evolved doesn't mean raising children is more complicated than before. Channel 2 premieres the Catalan version of [the series/show] this weekend. We will do what we can, call We do what we canA new program about raising children. It will be presented by journalist and television and radio presenter Gemma Nierga, who will collaborate with and share the opinions of well-known personalities, experts, and above all, the young stars of the show: boys and girls.

The first two episodes deal with boundaries and bonding, respectively. The program premieres at 6:10 PM, and the first guests are actors Elena Furiase, Anabel Alonso, Alberto San Juan, and former basketball player Jorge Garbajosa. The Catalan presenter will also have relaxed conversations with other familiar faces, such as the former collaborator of... Channel surfing Lorena Castell, the actress from Badalona Melani Olivares, the actor and comedian Edu Soto and the former MotoGP rider Pol Espargaró.

The program, directed by Quique Quera, will feature the voices of various experts. Neuropsychologist Álvaro Bilbao, parenting consultant Míriam Tirado, psychiatrist María Velasco, and sexologist Elena Crespi are some of the professionals who will contribute their knowledge, helping parents manage different situations. During the first eight episodes of this first season, topics such as fears, roles, communication between parents and children, siblings, screen time, and emotional well-being will be discussed. Besides celebrities, there will also be stories of ordinary people like Elizabeth and Rita, a mother and daughter who have had to rebuild their relationship after being separated for fourteen years. The program will also feature Julieta, a mother who regrets having overprotected her children, and Montse Freixa, a retired teacher who addresses the problems of rushing into parenting.
