The Institut d'Estudis Catalans promotes the "Thought Award" with the aim of strengthening Catalan as a language for the creation of contemporary thought. The award will be integrated into the Night of Catalan Letters – promoted by the IEC and Òmnium – and will be endowed with 15,000 euros.
