Trump states that the US controls the Strait of Hormuz while Iran threatens to keep it closed

Donald Trump has assured that US forces have "total control" of the Strait of Hormuz. "We control it. Nobody else, just us," he affirmed. He also said that the situation with Tehran is "going wonderfully," while admitting that he does not trust the Iranian authorities.
