Russia attacks a passenger train in Ukraine with drones
At least four people have died from the impact of the aircraft on the convoy carrying 155 people.
BarcelonaKyiv reports that a Russian drone attack on a passenger train in the Kharkiv region of northeastern Ukraine has left at least four dead and several wounded. The Kremlin drones reportedly attacked the train, carrying 155 passengers, as it traveled from Chop, a town near the Ukrainian border with Hungary and Slovakia, to the city of Barvinkove in the Kharkiv region, according to Ukrainian authorities. The deadliest drone strike was on the third carriage, while two other drones reportedly hit the side of the train. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called the attack terrorism: "In any country, a drone attack on a civilian train would be considered exactly the same: purely as terrorism," the Ukrainian leader wrote on the Telegram messaging app. Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba called the attack a "direct act of Russian terrorism."
